He's finally getting married!!!

My little brother asked Brennley Thomas of the lovely Holbrook, AZ to be his lovely blissful wife for all eternity this Saturday. He asked us for tons of ideas but in the end he totally came up with this cute game plan on his own. He had my mom and Laura make a heart puzzle and cute clues that they put all over Joe City and Holbrook that were important places in their lil' courtship. All the clues led to the Holbrook auditorium (her mom is in charge of it) where she found the last piece of the puzzle and a note saying, "now that you have my heart and have taken a walk down memory lane please enter the next stage of your life". She then entered the auditorium to Uncle Cracker's new song "smile" and a spotlight that brought her down to the stage where Eric walked across and kissed her while in the background "Will you marry me" appeared on the screen. It didn't appear right away so he just kept kissing her for a long time, then it finally appeared and he got down on one knee. When he scooped her up in a hug their family and friends all came out of the darkened audience clapping and cheering. It was way cute and way cute that Eric planned it all out. Her ring is gorgeous, they are gorgeous together, they have a gorgeous little toyota corolla, and they are getting married January 15. This all happened pretty fast. When I left for camping he was dating another girl. When I came back he had broke it off with her, bought a new car, and confessed his love to Brennley and decided she was the one. He said it was like a tornado in his head and then he saw her and it all calmed down, he told her he didn't know how anything was gonna work out but he knew he loved her, and that he was pretty sure he had been in love with her for a while. Tuesday night he picked out and bought a ring (with a little assistance from Tyler), Thursday he asked her dad if he could marry his daughter (to which he said, "Brennley is happy, we're happy, and we would be honored to have you marry Brennley", cute:)), and Saturday he proposed. He is now way in debt, deeply in love, and annoyingly happy. It was really a fun day and definitely worth the drive up, thanks for sharing the big moment with us Uncle Eric and Aunt Brennely!
